The team at Key West Video loves going to networking events. They’re a great way to get out of the office and, sometimes we even get a fun road trip out of the experience.
The Set Up
One of our favourite things about going to networking events is setting up our booth. We can emphasize our brand and, setting up the table can be a fun and satisfying experience. When you come to our networking table, you’ll find a ballot box to enter for a free video, a stand with our latest promo, and a tv playing our demo reel! You’ll even get to see our live IG follower counter, how cool is that?
The People
Another great part about these networking events is the amazing people we get to meet. Events allow you to meet people you otherwise wouldn’t get to come in contact with regularly. Networking is a fantastic way for both parties to exchange contacts, make referrals, or even pursue an opportunity together.
Networking events put you in contact with several contacts from various service industries. Sometimes these involve an exchange of services, but most of the time, it’s just a great conversation with another business owner.
How Covid-19 has Changed Networking
Now that we’re in a position where we’re working from home, a lot of people have turned to virtual networking! People are hosting events on Zoom and other virtual platforms to bring the networking experience to your living room.
You can find panel speakers, opportunities to break out into groups, and even have one on one, speed networking opportunities. Do you think this is the future of networking?
