Why 360-Degree Animation Corporate Videos Are Important

Looking to spruce up your company’s brand? 360-degree animation videos might just be the way to do it!

360-degree animation videos are animation videos that are shot from, well, a 360-degree angle.

360-degree animation videos vary in degree. While some operative as locked in, 360-degree videos (wherein a camera moves in a 360-degree angle around a subject), other 360-degree animation videos are much more immersive. They require user participation and prompt its participants to get involved in the world.

Through integrating animation videos, users have the chance to form their world. Users are able to follow simple instructions usually by holding down the mouse or trackpad and moving the screen (similarly to Google Maps or Google Earth). This allows animators the freedom to create user-friendly worlds with hidden messages.

These types of animation videos are great for corporate videos as a way to engage directly with audiences. It creates a fun atmosphere for users to participate with a brand. It’s also a great way to show off your company’s culture, attitude, and/or sense of humour!

For companies whose brands don’t align with fun-filled animation, normal 360-degree videos are also another great option. These videos feature a wide angle lens that captures video from all areas. Think of the iPhone’s Panorama feature that allows users to take wide photos. This concept is synonymous with 360 video.
