Key West Video Announced as a 2022 National and Local Excellence Award Winner by UpCity!

Obviously, Covid-19 has taken the whole world by storm and put a ton of productions on hold. If I’m only naming a few, Riverdale, The Flash and the final season of Supernatural have all halted productions. One of the productions affected by this pandemic is NBC’s “The Blacklist”!

“The Blacklist” is a crime thriller finishing off its seventh season. Since production was halted due to the pandemic they found a clever way to wrap up their season! The turned to animation.

The show completed the episode by mixing in animation with the scenes that had already been shot. Apparently the actors recorded dialogue from home and all the animation and editing were done remotely. Kudos to The Blacklist production team for finding a creative way around the pandemic! This episode airs tonight so make sure you catch it on NBC!

“The Blacklist” isn’t the only television production that’s turned to alternative means during these difficult times. The shows “One Day at a Time” and “All Rise” also found creative ways to finish their episodes. “One Day at a Time” also made an animation special and “All Rise” did a quarantine episode where the characters were shown quarantining from home! CBS’s “All Rise” got glowing reviews on their episode and was commended for their immense creativity that didn’t seem forced.

Do you know who else is turning to animation during this time? Our clients! Everyone is working remotely and budget cuts make it hard for an elaborate live-action video, so a corporate animation is the best way to get your message across.

What are you waiting for? Contact Key West Video today and we’ll put together an animation! The best part about it is what everything can be done remotely, which means that physical distancing is in full effect! Let us add some movement to your message.
